Members
The North Shore Welcoming Action Committee is comprised of approximately 30
members representing a wide variety of community agencies including education,
parks, recreation and culture, libraries, Cities, volunteerism, and
multi-purpose agencies. The NSWAC is co-chaired by the Executive Directors of
the North Shore Multicultural Society, Elizabeth Jones, and the North Shore
Neighbourhood House. The project is also supported by a Project
Coordinator, Jody Johnson. With funding from the Welcoming and Inclusive
Communities and Workplaces program (WICWP), the NSWAC is working to engage
additional members to ensure that the membership is truly representative of all
sectors of the communities of the North Shore.
